Commissioning Food Donations to Baringo County, Following the KCCB 2019 Drought Appeal.

IT IS THE LOVE OF CHRIST THAT URGES US ON!

On 15th April 2019 , His Eminence John Cardinal Njue commissioned food Donations to Baringo County in response to the 2019 Drought Emergency Appeal by the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops.

The Commissioning Event was also Graced by the presence of His Lordship, Bishop David Kamau.

The Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi through its 13 Deaneries received food items amounting to 70 tonnes and worth 7 Million KES. They also received contributions in cash amounting to KES 1,150,000 Million from Christians and People of Good Will.

The activity was coordinated by CARITAS NAIROBI. The food donations will be received by CARITAS NAKURU. Some of the amount raised will also be used to support drought affected communities in the Catholic Diocese of Lodwar.

We appreciate your generous donations towards this appeal and we encourage you to continue supporting our brothers and sisters in drought affected communities in Kenya.
