The Programme ensures that the capacity for Catholic Church based development structures are strengthened, so as to effectively respond to the needs of the poor and services provision. The program seeks to promote efficiency and effectiveness of Caritas Kenya as it carries out her mandate while working with her partners both at the international and diocesan level.

Caritas Kenya has been able to mainstream the Caritas Internationalis Management Standards (CI MS) to various Dioceses with the aim of organizational strengthening to make Diocesan Caritas stronger, and as a result make the Caritas Network stronger and more effective. The standards are based on existing Caritas good practices and accepted principles within the Caritas community. Engaging into continuous learning in fraternal cooperation, based on and driven by Catholic Social Teachings, aims to be a network that responds to the needs of people affected by poverty, injustice, social exclusion or disasters
