Who we are

Caritas Kenya is the National Development and Humanitarian arm of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB). Caritas Kenya supports evangelization through Social Economic Development and Humanitarian interventions to all; especially the needy and the most vulnerable across the 25 Catholic Dioceses of Kenya which are spread out in the 47 Counties of Kenya.

A society where people work for their sustained development in dignity witnessing God’s love.
Mission
We are the social development arm of the Catholic Church that exists to witness the Gospel of Christ through integral development for the common good of all the people.
Mandate
Caritas Kenya is mandated by KCCB to coordinate, facilitate and play representation and supervisory roles for effective and efficient implementation of development programmes aimed at addressing poverty, conflict, gender disparity, disasters and emergencies amongst other emerging needs at respective Dioceses.
